The Bridgepoint Ensemble - Apollo’s Harp

  • Rye Creative Centre New Road England, TN31 United Kingdom (map)

The Principal clarinet and flute of the Royal Opera House and the LSO’s harpist, Bryn Lewis, join the Bridgepoint Ensemble for an eclectic evening that features one of the finest and most popular pieces in the repertoire, Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet.

Also in the programme is a fascinating piece by the French eccentric Albert Roussel and Ravel’s fabulous one-movement Septet. To start the second half, Matthew Truscott and Bryn will bring us the virtuosic and wonderfully tuneful Fantasie by Saint-Saens.

Saint Saëns Fantasie for violin and harp

Ravel Introduction Allegro for flute, clarinet, harp and string quartet
