‘The Studio’ at Rye Creative Centre
Art Space Celebrating Neurodiversity
Rye Creative Centre is honoured to rent one of their studio spaces to 'The Studio', a professional arts space for artists with disabilities celebrating neurodiversity, run by artist and carer, Jenny Edbrooke, weekdays between 9:15am and 3:15pm.
Artists will be invited to explore a range of mediums such as Acrylic and Watercolour painting, Drawing techniques, Textiles, Clay, 3D Sculpture/installation, Arts and Crafts, Modelmaking, Woodwork, Mosaic, Collage, Photography and more.
With a focus on fun, freedom and self-expression artists can work at their own pace to experiment, create and learn in a happy and safe space. No more than four artists attend each day which promotes a calm and person-centred atmosphere.
The Studio has a beautiful garden space in which we can take breaks, relax, and take inspiration from to motivate our artwork. Artists can also choose background music and refreshments are always available.

Art Classes for Kids
The Studio is now also launching Kids Art Classes which are perfect for primary level home education/ homeschool students or those wishing to develop their creative skills.
The sessions will involve a range of mediums and techniques and shadow the KS1/ KS2 curriculum but the focus will be on self-expression and be pupil lead as to learning styles and projects undertaken.
Kids sessions will take place Wednesdays and Saturdays between 9:30am and 12:30pm or 1:00pm and 4:00pm priced at £25 per child and includes all materials and refreshments.
