Charcoal to Clay - A Workshop for all Creatives
Introduction
A workshop that combines both drawing and sculpting from life.
Starting with a series of quick charcoal drawings that lead to a longer pose for modelling in clay. This workshop opens up the possibilities of exploring line and form in both 2D and 3D, gaining insight by the shifting of perspective.
It enables artists to hone their observational skills and work spontaneously.
Professional model, spacious studio and outdoor area to eat.

Cost
£100 (including lunch)
Clay and charcoal are supplied.
Workshop can only run with a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 8.

About the Tutor
Stephanie Rubin was classically trained and has worked as a commercial sculptor for 30 years. She studied at City & Guilds of London Art School from 1989 – 93 and has a BA in Fine Art Sculpture and is an experienced teacher with a City and Guilds qualification.
