CLAY FIGURE & PORTRAIT CLASSES WITH STEPHANIE RUBIN

Stephanie has worked as a commercial sculptor for 30 years. She has a BA in Fine Art Sculpture from London Art School and has a City & Guilds qualification in teaching.

Stephanie is offering six classes every Thursday between 10am and 1pm starting June 1st. All classes are tutored with demonstrations on modelling techniques. These are intimate classes with a maximum of six students per class, giving each student a good amount of individual tuition.

Throughout the course, there will be a focus on observation, structure, proportion and form. You will begin drawing the life model with charcoal to show the importance of working quickly and directly. This skill swiftly gets translated into clay and, with a few measuring and modelling techniques, the journey begins.

The price for all six classes is £300 or drop-in is £55 per class. All classes include model, materials and refreshments.

Full amount will need to be paid on enrollment.

All skill levels welcome.
