Marsh Choir - Rock, Pop & Soul Community Choir
Marsh Choir is a network of rock/pop & soul community choirs that take place at different time of the week in Lydd, Dymchurch, St Mary's Bay, Hythe and Rye! These are community choirs, which means everybody is welcome - all ages, all abilities. You will be learning popular songs around the piano, in harmony, in a fun but ambitious setting!
Your choir master, Carly Bryant, is a professional singer and musician who in the last decade has performed extensively in the USA, South America, Australia and Europe. Highlights including Webster Hall in New York, Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and playing to a whopping 70 thousand people at the biggest rock festival in Brazil, 'Joao Rock'.
After a classical music training, Carly graduated and became a touring rock pianist/singer! Alongside touring, Carly also works as a freelance undergraduate music lecturer, and has released six albums of original music. Having recently moved to the Romney Marsh, Carly is excited to bring more music to this wonderful community.
