Caroline Fraser - fine art photography and book art. Caroline’s photography is a response to the beauty and infinite variation of objects found in nature, along with a concern for the natural environment. Her quiet representations of mood and place are created with an emphasis on the intimate details within nature, using abstraction and layering. Her love of remote landscapes has taken her to the highlands of Scotland, Iceland, New Zealand's South Island and Greenland.
Caroline combines photography with writing, and incorporates her work into limited edition handmade artist books. She works from her studio at Rye Creative Centre, and is a member of Artspring Gallery, Tonbridge. She is available for individual tuition on photography and book making skills. She values the sentiments of the adventurer John Muir who said:
‘everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.’
